Beautiful and surprising, the millions of Goo Balls who live in the World of Goo are curious to explore - but they dont know that they are in a game, or that they are extremely delicious.
This is the FULL award winning game, now on iOS. Drag and drop living, squirming, talking, globs of goo to build structures, bridges, cannonballs, zeppelins, and giant tongues.
Mysterious Levels - Each level is strange and dangerously beautiful, introducing new puzzles, areas, and the creatures that live in them.
World of Goo Balls - Along the way, undiscovered new species of Goo Ball, each with unique abilities, come together to ooze through reluctant tales of discovery, love, conspiracy, beauty, electric power, and the third dimension.
The Sign Painter - Someone is watching you.
World of Goo Corporation - Congratulations! World of Goo Corporation is the Global Leader in Goo and Goo Related Product, including World of Goo Corporation Trademark Brand Soft Drink Beverage and World of Goo Corporation Trademark Brand Facial Exfoliating Lotion. Succulent!
Massive Online Competition - Human players around the world compete in a living leaderboard to build the tallest towers of goo in World of Goo Corporations mysterious sandbox. Pros and cons of World of Goo app for iPhone and iPad
World of Goo app good for
This game is even more awesome on the iPad than on the computer. Enchanting game for old and young :)
On any platform, but on my iPhone its crashing from time to time and i got no Sound. Any ideas?
Soundtrack compares to 28 days later (really good) artwork compares to Tim Burtons (really good, childish and slightly disturbing) gameplay is the most original, addictive, challenging and fun. (like minecraft) a must have for sure
Theyve done a really nice job of utilizing the touch screen for this game, as it flows very nicely. Not choppy like some other touch screen games.
This is the first game Ive taken time to review and actually this game is fantastic. The touch screen was used perfectly and to be honest, Ive played the game on the computer and I prefer I the iPhone version. its tricky at times but thats part of the fun :) I think the game is the perfect difficulty. The humor is a great aspect as well. Definitely recommend it to anyone!
Very clever puzzle and level design. Definitely a worthwhile purchase :-)
Some bad moments
I have an iPod (4th generation) but mine keeps crashing once I select the season. I paid 4$ for this app, and I want help! I tried deleting and buying it again, but it stayed the same!!! I am FRUSTRATED!!
I bought the hd version and I have iphone4 but it dosent look that good I hate cash grabs. The game to me is very overrated. Bad music stupid not funny writing on the wood boards.
After downloading this app on my new iPad 4 I was severely disappointed with the graphic quality. I found that almost all text and images were grainy and poor in comparison to many other iOS games. The physical gameplay was ok, but the graphics really arent up to par.
The graphics were good the gameplay was ok but I find it too hard and frustrating! Grrrrrrrr
Where is the support for iPad retina displays?
Is this something you plan to update in the future?
But its been dropped by development and its sad because the app now consistently crashes on ios9 so you need to keep reloading the game to play.
Perhaps this is indicative of Apples App Store policy that encourages developers to abandon apps as they only make profit on making new apps and nothing to maintain their current ones. Once sales drop and as the app has made a critical mass of paid users, just walk away and make something new. Finger to the paid customers if it doesnt work with new iOS releases
